Edgar’s Coming Out Story from I Want the World to Know on Vimeo.
Edgar grew up in El Paso, Texas, where he had no gay role models or gay friends. He hinted that he was gay to a few of his close friends during his senior year in high school, who were all supportive, but he waited a while before telling anyone else. Ultimately, it was his experience at NYU that pushed him out of the closet. He came out to his parents, both of whom are Mexican and Catholic, while home for his winter vacation. Although it took some time for his mother to get comfortable with her son’s sexuality, she is now fully supportive of Edgar and his partner. Edgar believes that being honest and patient with yourself are the keys to coming out in a healthy way. He is intelligent, articulate, and fabulous! Watch his story now!

What a wondeful idea. I want to thank you for providing it. We are from the Africa and really appreciate your website. I wanted to share my feelings that every Catholic teen should read scripture. In fact, every youth should own a Bible as well. I looked it up on yahoo and anyone can pick them up at http://www.catholicteenbibles.com. Your website is one of my top. Your posts are probably the best there are on the internet. At any rate, I must get going but again, I want to thank you for such a great website.
