Amy’s Coming Out Story from I Want the World to Know on Vimeo.

Amy grew up in a suburb outside of Boston and moved to NYC to work at one of the top fashion schools as an Administrator, and to continue living in a double life in a college dormitory to follow her passion: comedy. Amy is the co-producer of the popular Manhattan-based comedy troupe, Dykes On Mics, that Time Out NY has billed as a “best bet for comedy” numerous times. She also produces Generosi-titties, a topless comedy extravaganza that raises money for Breast Cancer. Beckerman was invited on the Howard Stern Show on March 8th, 2010 to chat and promote the 1st annual “Generosi-titties” at Comix. Amy is one of the few that genuinely loves to make people laugh. She says things other people think, but wouldn’t have the balls to say. She is cynical with a twist of sarcasm she instills with every bite of life. Please watch her share her coming out story, and check out all of her projects:

Bridget’s Coming Out Story from I Want the World to Know on Vimeo.

Bridget McManus is a stunningly beautiful and brilliantly funny lesbian comedian based in Los Angeles. She is fearless on stage, and her humor is both candid and refreshing. She grew up in a suburb of Connecticut and has talked openly about her struggle with weight as a child. Because she was used to being taunted at school about her weight, she refused to let anyone tell her that she was wrong when she realized she was gay. Bridget is a fabulous woman who is proud of who she is and is not afraid to talk about it. She has used her sense of humor and talent to reach people, and it’s no surprise that she has many adoring fans who look up to her. “They” say that laughter is the best medicine, and Bridget definitely understood that from an early age.
